Earlier, Anna reflected much on the encounter while having breakfast. She was freshening up as she prepared to do her first task of going to the décor shop. Her mind was brimful with so much misgiving about the encounter with Jason today and her mum's request.
She heard a knock on the door,
Anna: You can come in.
Kate: How are you feeling now?
Anna: I am better. I am about to leave for grandma's shop.
Kate: I know you might think I am too harsh on you. However, this is good for you to step out and see the world.
Anna: For what? Look at me (pointing towards her legs). I’m crippled.
Kate: Yes, but you can still do great things. Don't limit yourself to dancing. Who knows which unique talent you possess?
Anna: Like what? Decorating.
Kate: Matter of fact, yes. Don't you recall how you used to be excited about Christmas decorations? Furthermore, look at what you transformed your bedroom over the years. It is your creativity that is well- thought out.
Anna: I get it, mum. You want me to be independent; be more self-reliant. It’s not easy. However, I am willing to try and help grandma.
Kate: On that note, I have decided to hire Jason with the shop. Furthermore, you will need help in carrying out the tasks. Besides, with his expertise, you are in safe hands.
Anna: That’s a mental note to take down. Wow, how soon?
Kate: After this talk, I will inform him about it.
Anna: Interesting (she said while looking out the window).
Kate: How did you feel about seeing him again?
Anna: Who exactly?
Kate: You know who I am talking about.
Anna: Well, it was a surprise. Despite time flying by, he is well and charming.
Kate: I see. Take care, besides I knew you had a crush on him back then.
Anna: That’s in the past now. A lot has changed since my accident and I am no longer attractive to him.

Kate opened the door and led her daughter to the living room. A few minutes shortly, they left the house heading towards the décor shop.
